The Homecoming Meeting of the Congregation and Corporation of the First Baptist Church of Los Angeles will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary following morning worship. The meeting purpose may include, hearing reports, an election of officers, and the transaction of other church business that may come up as we give attention to the function and financial health of the church and the community. – Ann Brodie, Moderator and Amy Shellmire, Church Clerk.

Following the business meeting, we’ll gather in the Robbins Dining room for our annual luncheon where the Cummings “Man of the Year Award” will be presented. A suggested donation of $8 is requested for the luncheon. It will be a joyful event sharing of testimonies and song.

As part of the Anniversary celebration, we are inviting you to demonstrate your appreciation for the church and what First Baptist has meant to you through a “Faith Share” offering of at least $144. A “Faith Share” is a dollar for each year of the Church’s existence. This gift authenticates our appreciation for God’s faithfulness toward us and in so doing demonstrated our faith that God will continue to bless First Baptist Church into the future. This offering will serve as an investment and deposit into the church programmatic year which begins on Home Coming Sunday.
