James Alfred Johnson was born August 12, 1956 in Shreveport Louisiana and three years later settled here in Los Angeles California with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Rachel Johnson in 1959. James comes from a humble upbringing of the Baptist Christian faith and enjoys serving the Lord. James also has one son Eric Brandon Johnson and two younger sisters Antoinette and Bonita who all make their home here in California.
At an early age growing up in the city James learned to love and embrace all cultural and ethnicities. As a youngster, James discovered that he had a natural athletic ability and found a real passion for boxing. One day at the age of twelve, James and a close friend were on their way to school when three street thugs tried to jump and beat them up. The both of them escaped successfully and unharmed but the only thing hurting James was his pride. Later that day James had the unexpected pleasure of beginning his lifelong journey of learning the Marital Arts.
Now James enjoys teaching the Martial Arts to inner city kids and adults alike in order to help keep them out of gangs while proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. James is never found far from the house of the Lord because he enjoys volunteering his time working in and around the Church wherever help is needed.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
