We had a wonderful celebration at First Baptist Church of Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31, 2013.  The sermon of the day by Rev. Carlton A. Rhoden was called “A God of No Boundaries”.

Some of the highlights included a reinforcement for us all to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and that “Easter is a promise that life is good NOW… that God is in our lives right NOW, and that our eternal life begins TODAY.”

The day began with a Sunrise Service, followed by an Easter Breakfast in the Dining Hall, and concluded with the 10am Easter Service Celebration, Sunday School, and refreshments.

We look forward to worshipping with you in the near future at FBCLA.

*We’d like to give a special thank you to Bernice and Elda Thomas who donated the Pulpit Flowers in loving memory of daughter and sister, Tina Thomas Shott.
