NEW YEARS EVE PARTYWritten by Carlton Rhoden on Nov 20, 2013 in - No Comments
Let’s have a party!
Although New Year’s Eve is not recognized as a significant Christian date on many church calendars, it is still an important date in everyone’s life. That is why we want to have a celebration to bring in the New Year. I cannot think of a better place to spend that time than with all the family and friends in church. Additionally, it’s also an opportunity to invite friends and neighbors who are not part of the congregation to join with us.
Everyone is invited for the family gathering December 31st, all ages and all cultures, the event starts at 6:30pm and ends at 9:30pm. Even though we will end at 9:30pm we will still countdown to the New Year! Bring a friend or family member.
We are going to set up areas around the church to have fun. So come and dance, play board games, watch videos, and reflect on the past year and the year to come. You can move around from one station to another to participate in different activities and to chat with different people. Tell a friend and we will see you New Years Eve.
