Space For Rent
The First Baptist Church is blessed to have a large building at its disposal. Not all areas of the building are used during the week and are offered for rental for weddings, baptisms, quinceaneras, art exhibits, funerals, video and movie production and much more. The church building is located on the corner of Westmoreland Ave. and 8th Street, just a couple miles from downtown Los Angeles, near Koreatown. With our numerous areas for rent, you’re sure to find a space that will suit your needs while at the same time knowing that your investment is going to also help the community.

A basketball court-sized gymnasium is available. It has a stage and a balcony which allows it to be easily converted to a performance space. The gymnasium has been used for concerts, basketball and volleyball leagues and as an art exhibit.
The historic Francis Chapel, just off Leeward Street, has room for about 200 guests. It is a great space for weddings and special services. It is lined with stained glass windows and is equipped with an organ and piano.
The large, historic First Baptist sanctuary will take your breath away. With seating for around 1,500, the sanctuary is a space that has been honorably used for everything from sacred ceremonies to video production.
There are numerous rooms throughout the building that are available for rent. Currently the not-for-profit organizations LA Voice PICO and Hope-Net utilize some of the available spaces for their offices.
